Hellgate Roller Derby is so excited to kick off our 2023 season in partnership with Missoula Pride and the Western Montana Community Center. Our Season Opener Pride Roller Derby Bout is Sunday, June 18th at the Missoula County Fairgrounds 4-H Pavilion. This is our first home season since 2019 - you won't want to miss this! Schedule is as follows:

There will be food and drinks available for purchase throughout the festivities.

More fun is brewing... keep your eyes on the HRD Facebook Event Page for updates.

Borderless Belong: Black Diaspora, Team Indigenous Rising and Jewish Roller Derby Logos

Hellgate Roller Derby stands in support of borderless teams and minority communities.

You belong in all spaces, including roller derby. The treatment of Black Diaspora Roller Derby and Team Indigenous Rising at the recent Battle of the All Stars tournament was unacceptable. We encourage you to read their statements.

We all have a responsibility to do better to build a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive community in roller derby. HRD will be investing in DEI/anti-racism training. We encourage other members of the roller derby community to do the same, and donate to these teams if able.

Calling all derby-lovers! WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Do you want to:

As we return to play, Hellgate Roller Derby is ALWAYS looking for volunteer refs, non-skating officials, and other miscellaneous volunteers. No knowledge or experience necessary!

We'll teach you the rules, procedures, and skills needed for your role! We are ESPECIALLY in need of on-skates refs, so if you're a retired derby player looking to dust off your skates, or an active roller skater not interested in PLAYING derby, please let us know! Email to volunteer!

We Have Space To Share!

Located in the heart of downtown, we want to partner with people who are looking for multi use space.

Hellgate Roller Derby League' space at 500 East Spruce St, Suite B is 2300 square feet with approximately 1800 square feet of open studio space. It's great for birthday parties, fitness classes, pop-up shops, small concerts, and more!
